A Dialogue on Entrepreneurship with AWE & DEI

The Department of Management, Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI), in association with 
All Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), Agra, hosted an inspiring and dynamic Dialogue on Entrepreneurship — a celebration of ideas, innovation, courage, and community. This empowering event brought students, leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers together for a day filled with learning, creativity, and meaningful conversations. 

The session opened with the soulful Institute Prayer, grounding the space in purpose and positivity. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was charged with curiosity, enthusiasm, and the fearless spirit of young entrepreneurs eager to transform ideas into action. 

With 40 teams registered15 poster presentations, and 5 oral presentations, the event beautifully showcased the talent and entrepreneurial energy of DEI’s MBA students, who continue to dream boldly, research deeply, innovate confidently, and present powerfully. 

 

Inspiration from Leaders & Visionaries 

The event featured powerful addresses that ignited courage and clarity: 

  • Ms. Suruchi Sharma, Founder of Curated by Suruchi, shared her journey of taking bold steps, reinventing herself, and building creative spaces that inspire community. 
  • Ms. Richa Bansal, CEO & Founder of Purple & Pink Digital Marketing Agency, reminded students that while success and failures come and go, it is courage that keeps entrepreneurs moving forward. 

Their words infused the hall with confidence, reminding every participant that behind every venture lies determination, risk-taking, and resilience. 

The gathering was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Prof. C. Patvardhan (Director) and Prof. Sanjeev Swami (Officiating Registrar), who shared invaluable life lessons on curiosity, leadership, and turning ideas into impact. Their presence brought wisdom and encouragement to the young innovators in the room. 

Where Innovation Took Center Stage: Student Presentations 

The heart of the event was the Student Dialogue on Entrepreneurship, where teams presented business ideas addressing real-world problems with creativity and purpose. 

Top 5 Oral Presentations included: 

  • Verdura – Kitchen Hydroponics for sustainable urban farming 
  • Skillzy – Digital resume platform for blue-collar workers 
  • BloomTree – Floral, fruit & fusion tea blends 
  • Vegan Sevens – Plant-based footwear 
  • Steady Hands Partners – Eco-friendly incense from flower waste 

The Poster Presentation round featured 15 innovative teams showcasing ideas across sustainable products, design innovation, food tech, handicrafts, STEM learning, home décor, and more. 

 

A Powerful Panel: Wisdom From Industry Leaders 

A deeply engaging Panel Discussion brought together remarkable women from business, hospitality, law, education, tech, culinary arts, and social work. 

The panelists included: 
Dr. Ranjana Bansal, Ms. Rajani Nair Deb, Dr. Ritu Bhatnagar, Adv. Namrata Mishra, Ms. Nidhi Singh, Ms. Richa Bansal, Chef Sangati Bansal, and Ms. Poonam Sachdeva. 

Moderated by Prof. Sumita Srivastava, the discussion offered raw, honest, and enlightening stories about failures, turning points, leadership, and building purpose-driven ventures. Students interacted enthusiastically, asking thoughtful questions that turned the session into a truly collaborative learning experience. 

 

Valedictory Note: A Global Perspective 

The valedictory address by Dr. Ajay Sharma, Founder of ASR Ventures (joining virtually from the Netherlands), added a powerful global dimension to the event. He encouraged students to embrace innovation, think fearlessly, and build solutions that contribute to a better world.

The celebration also acknowledged the incredible volunteers — the backbone of the event — for their dedication and seamless coordination. 

The day ended with the University Song, symbolizing unity, gratitude, and a shared commitment to learning and growth.

With 40 teams, 20 presentations, 12 distinguished leaders, and hundreds of sparks of inspiration, the Dialogue on Entrepreneurship became more than a competition — it became a movement of ideas, ambition, and empowerment.
